Top photo: Performing on a wonderful, vintage 9-foot Steinway piano at the exclusive Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles for their annual Gourmet Society Holiday Dinner. It's fine old instruments such as this one, with such a warm "vibration" from years of loving care and service, that make me absolutely love what I do. I feel so blessed to have been offered such an opportunity to perform.
Second photo: Performing at a car club event for about 200 people at Crevier Classic Cars in Costa Mesa, with the venue filled with beautiful collector-type automobiles. I was in heaven!
Third photo: At the Pavia restaurant with my long-time friend and singing partner Victoria Paoletti - Tejeda. We've been performing together since 1984. She's such a gifted, warm and beautiful person, and I feel extremely blessed to know her. (Hi Vicky)!
Fourth photo: I sometimes perform with a percussionist, which makes my music a bit more "danceable". Here, I'm with talented young drummer David Aguire at the drum set. (No, he's not my son -- people asked us about that all evening)!
Below: The BrassWorks Brass Quintet (one of the professional ensembles I play with on Horn) at a 'Gatsby" party at a seaside mansion in Manhattan Beach. That's my '31 Franklin in the background -- they rented the car for a little extra bit of "atmosphere". The BrassWorks Quintet is available for your wedding, private party, or any special occasion -- and performs a wide variety of styles of music. Contact me for details!
